The Freelancer is the most outgoing of all of the personality types. Driven to succeed, but other people, and more importantly their feelings, are a top priorities to you. Freelancers are also always open to trying new things. Independence is a word that resonates most closely to a Freelancer's heart. They love people and communicate well, but things must be done their own way. The three aspects of your personality tested in AMPT: how you interact with your environment, how you handle information, and what motivates you, blend together to achieve the Freelancer outcome.
How you interact with your environment
As a Freelancer, you are always interested in what's happening in your environment. You are an open person and love to talk. You aren't afraid to share your opinions and you always say what's on your mind. When dealing with problems or new projects, you like action and initiative. In your relationships, you like meeting new people and can easily make friends and adapt to a new group. But if you find yourself with an unwanted relationship, you have no problem with separating yourself and breaking ties.
How You Handle Information
Freelancers handle information emotionally. You are deeply interested in other people, and more specifically, their feelings. Passion and love are of great importance in your life. You base your decisions on a proposition or in a situation ethically and whether the decision you make will be good or bad. Freelancers are always the ones to notice what a beautiful morning it is and dole out compliments to everyone they see. However, you can also sometimes be touchy and pass your mood onto others.
What Motivates You
The way you interact with your environment carries over to you motivations. Action and taking the initiative in a situation are a big part of your life. When facing a tough decision, you go with the situation and act impulsively. Deadlines mean nothing to Freelancers. You prefer freedom from obligations and the quality and quantity of your work output depends heavily on your mood. You are a curious person and interested in looking at situations in a new and different perspective. You can start several projects at once, but that does not mean they will all be your best work. Because Freelancers are such an intuitive type, doing things without any preparation isn't that uncommon of a situation.
